Hallway Sparks
A short story for a contest,
to a published book...
Hallway Sparks began as an idea during a short story contest on Wattpad.
It was written quickly, almost without a second thought, as if the story
was already there, just waiting to come out.
Then it went quiet.
Years passed, and the text remained, untouched but not forgotten.
Until one day, I picked it up again.
I read, edited, and rewrote.
Along the way, I let the characters grow, argue a little more, and feel a little deeper.
And somewhere along the way, it became clear:
this was no longer just a short story. This was a book.
Today, Hallway Sparks is published by Förtrollande fantasier.
A story that took its time, found its form,
and finally became exactly what it was meant to be.
A story about chemistry that cannot be ignored.
About feelings that grow where they shouldn’t.
And about two people who might not be right for each other,
but still can’t help themselves.
"A romantic slow-burn story about friction, desire, and the kind of love that refuses to stay quiet."
Hallway Sparks is a romantic novella about control and chaos, about clinging to security—and about what happens when someone steps right through your walls and refuses to back down.,
Freja has built her life on structure. Order. Silence.
Elias is everything she didn't plan for.
They are neighbors. They share a hallway, and what begins with irritation and resistance slowly turns into something impossible to ignore.
The book is romantic, playful, and intense, with lots of dialogue, sparks, and emotional build-up. It's not a quick love story—it's one where the tension takes its time, where feelings creep up on you, and where every encounter means something.
Perfect for those who like:
• Neighbors to lovers
• Slow burn with heat
• Strong main characters
• Humor mixed with passion
• Romance that feels real

Freja
Freja believes in order, control, and clear boundaries. She feels most comfortable when life follows the rules she has set for herself—
quiet evenings, fixed routines, and no surprises.
The only problem is that some encounters don't care about rules. And some feelings refuse to be controlled.

Elias
Elias takes his place. He knows what he wants, and he doesn't back down once he's made up his mind.
Confident, present, and completely indifferent to other people's boundaries—especially Freja's.
When Elias wants something... he makes sure he's impossible to ignore.
