An inherited cabin in the woods,
a woman and a vampire...
That's what popped into my head when I decided to write Eternal Desire,
(The Nightwalker, as it was called then).
I didn't intend it to be a series, I was just going to write a book. But by the time it got to the end, I had fallen so in love with the characters that I couldn't just stop.
So one book turned into another, more characters were created in my head and the stories just kept coming. I had no plans for what would happen, or how it would end. Because just as Margit Sandemo described her creation of The Ice People's Tale, the story came to me.
I always say, let your fantasy flow and create magic, and that's exactly how it is. My mind creates the stories, the lyrics just flow out of me, and that my friends, is magic!
Jack
In the first book, Eternal Desire, we meet Jack, a vampire who has escaped from a powerful organization intent on exterminating all vampires.
In the cabin he has been hiding in for many years, he eventually meets Alice, the young woman who inherited the cabin from her grandmother's sister.
The attraction between them is immediate and powerful. They can't stop thinking about each other, and of course Jack knows he can't be with Alice. He's a vampire, she's a human, and he can't stay with her.
He decides to leave the cottage, but he can't. There's something special about Alice. Something that keeps him here and before he knows it, he has dragged her into the war that he himself escaped from so many years
ago.
A war that is so much bigger than he could ever have imagined ...

The Nightwalkers is a five-book series
that follows a nest of vampires throughout the series, starting with Jack and Alice.
All books contain an ever-present desire, an irresistible allure, and they take readers on an emotional rollercoaster. They are also full of excitement, challenges and action.

Book 2-Eternal Longing, I haven't decided exactly when, or how it will be released yet.
The first draft is ready, and will be edited. But before that, Eternal Desire will be translated into English.

Eighteen years have passed since Alice found Emma for Derek, and they have watched her grow up ever since. The war against the VK is over for now, but it did not go as the vampires had hoped. Some battles were lost and many of the VK's followers managed to escape.
The hunt for them continues, but Derek has paused his participation and handed over responsibility to another vampire.
Emma is now twenty-four years old, and the time has come for Derek to claim his twin soul and make her his.
Together with Alice, he devises a plan to get Emma to come to him. However, it will not be as easy as he thought. Emma has other plans and is not prepared to give herself to any man, not even him.

I have always been fascinated by vampires.
Their immortality, supernaturalness and alluring charm can't help but mesmerize.
From books and movies to myths and legends, vampires have always been iconic symbols of the supernatural and the forbidden.
Their dark and immortal nature has made them symbols of evil and allure. But for me they have always been more than that. They have been symbols of longing for eternal life, transformation and passion. A powerful longing for connection and a burning love for those they can no longer have, but they can. Because in fantasy, there is mystery, imagination, passion and magic that creates a world where anything is possible, and that is exactly how it should be.
It is a world where dreams come true and the impossible becomes possible.
A world where everyone can find something to mean to someone, and that's why the fantasy genre is so much fun to write in!
